Discovering the Artist

                                 Maile Kai Merrick is an accomplished singer, actor, and dancer based in California.                                   She has had a passion for singing and performing since the age of four. She began                                   acting at seven and found her true artistic home at The ADDERLEY Advanced                                       Conservatory, where she immersed herself in musical theatre.

                                 Maile’s most recent stage credits include playing  Cinderella in Into the Woods, Catherine in Pippin, Nancy in Oliver!, Sally Bowles in Cabaret, Velma Kelly in Chicago, a Fate in Hadestown, and Natasha in Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812.

Throughout her work, Maile has performed alongside esteemed artists such as Katy Perry, Kenny Loggins, Jordan Fisher, Kevin Chamberlin, Kristin Chenoweth, and Alan Parsons.

 Maile has received numerous accolades, including first, second, third, and fourth place awards in solo, dance, duet, monologue, and ensemble categories at the Musical Theatre Competitions of America in 2022, 2023, and 2024. She was also a top-three finalist in Teen Star USA and was honored with the Kelli O’Hara Soprano Kristi Award from Kristin Chenoweth.

In addition to her acting and singing, Maile is a passionate dancer, training in ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, and tap. She thrives on collaborating with fellow artists, exploring new creative ventures, and developing original work.
